Phantom flew through a wall before sliding on the ground. He lets out a grunt of pain as his back slams to the ground. The ninja does a back hand spring and slides the last little bit on his feet. He draws his blade and takes a three point stance. "Hey, he's over here!" A thug yells before running up to him. A bullet fires from the gun but Blake deflects it and sends a throwing into the thug's hand. Before the thug has a chance to scream, the ninja smacks the pummel of his sword into his head, knocking him out. The wall exploded from force as a large man in a luchador mask stepped out of the rubble. "I will crush you, parásito," Bane yelled. Phantom threw several throwing knives at the villain but they do little more than bounce off of his arms. Blake sprints towards Bane but phases through him and goes back inside.
Running down a catwalk, Blake cuts open a pipe, causing steam to bellow out, scalding some of his pursuers. He jumps off of the catwalk, using the railing to swing to the catwalk below and kick a guard in the chest. Phantom slides into an air vent to attempt to get away from his pursuers. Crawling through the ducts, the ninja peers into a hole in the vents to a room below. "Team, we have a problem, they have hostages," Blake said, holding the button of his headset.

Today was the star sapphires first day on earth. Rueben an alien girl from a far far far away place was finally on earth. Landing on a near by building she heard some bangs, booms, and even some screams of pain. Turning and seeing a giant man run after a smaller man she gasped. Though it seemed the boy was in trouble, quickly the star sapphire made her way to the building. The black haired girl raised her ring to the wall and pulled out the bricks then floated in the building, placing the bricks back in place.
Unknowing the girl was in a room filled with bane's henchmen. They were guarding bane's new venom and were not happy with intruders, even intruders dressed like star sapphires. "Well well well what do we have here?" Rueben turned around and noticed that she was in the middle of a crowd. "Well it looks like I am a star and you are not the reason I am here. I am actually looking for a human who is in trouble, perhaps you have seen him?" she got in to a fighting stance and smiled.

Not two seconds after he sent the message, a metal spike was thrust into the duct and pulled out just mere inches from the ninja's head. He rolled out of the way as another hole was punctured right where his stomach was. Phasing through the duct, Phantom dropped right next to the thug and spartan kicked him to the ground. A man yelled as he swung a lead pipe at the boy, giving him ample time to draw his blade and slice the weapon. The man looked like a deer in headlights before turning around and screaming like a girl. He looked over and saw a crowd of thugs. Using the railing as a launching post, Phantom jumping into the air and threw out a rope dart. The jagged blade stuck into the ceiling, giving him a rope to swing over to the other side of the room.
A couple of bullets flew by him as several thugs tried to shoot Blake down. Whoever was on the other side of the room can wait. Phantom dropped down to them while throwing out a sting bomb. A couple caught in the direct blast of the bomb were screaming from the pain of the concentrated pepper spray. He kicked a couple in the head while he threw a throwing knife at one that was trying to press the alarm.
"camarón, over here" Bane yelled at Blake. He turned to see the wrestler again. Green fluid started to flow inside of him as his muscles grew bigger. Blake demanded. He scanned the room to see anything of use. "A turbine fan... it will have to do" Phantom thought to himself. Throwing a knife directly at Bane, the ninja used the fraction of a second it provided to press the button to active the fan systems. Phantom threw a corpse bomb into the fan. When it exploded, the smell of rotting flesh filled the air. The warm, moist climate only made the smell worse. He went over to the hostages and cut their bonds. "Go! Get out of here!" The ninja gagged from the stench.

The group turned to look as the commotion went on between the hero and the other members and their leader. "Well never mind I found him!" The girl giggled and fist pumped the air, that caused the men to look back at her. "oops." swinging her fist in the air a giant pink construct of a teddy bare smacked the group and smashed them all into the wall. walking over to the group of men she stood above them and looked at them. "Stand down." she then placed them all in a crystallization state.
Turning to the commotion just as the big villain started to grow. Flying strait at the villain who had started to make his way towards the boy Rueben caught whiff of the smell and blinked, she had smelled worse things on her planet but this was horrid it almost made her gag, placing a force field around her body the girl kept a fast pace at the masked man. Right as the hero set free the hostages the girl slammed her bright pink constructed fist up the mans face.
This sent the man flying a short distance. She knew he would be up and ready to pounce in the next moments. Landing next to the boy she extended the force field that was now covering a 20 foot diameter that went three feet above Blake's head. "Hero are you okay? Do you acquire medical attention."

No sooner had the extraterrestrial made her enquiry did a large growling roar sound off from outside, followed by several screams of fear and the sounds of far-away gunfire. As the noise grew louder, due to the sources growing nearer, the voices of men shouting "Oh god it's him again!" Could be discerned among the general track of chaos that was playing as a light background music to the events happening around the heroes and their foe. Within another half-minute a loud crashing could be heard as one of the room's concrete walls was practically blasted to pieces.
Standing in the portal which had been rather forcefully made, stood a tall figure that was a welcome sight in this situation. Superboy was hunched over slightly with both fists clenched, his shirt severely torn from the hail of gunfire he had practically charged through, and one of Bane's thugs draped over his forearm as he'd been caught during the encounter previously. "Phantom! I told you to stay intangible! We needed to disenga-" Of course the telepathic relay cut itself short, as Conner noticed the young hero at the mercy of Bane, who while he was cut on one of the four hoses which injected the venom into his system, remained a very dangerous foe still.
Muttering to himself about rookies, Conner then resumed his mental communication to the team who were now also arriving on the scene, commanding, "We need to get those hostages free! I'm going to stall Bane for as long as I can, but don't re-engage until the civilians are safe!" Leaping forward with a powerful warcry, latching onto the large wrestler, and throwing backwards with all his weight, sending both combatants to the floor.

Blake noticed the mystical construct. "A Green Lantern?" But it wasn't green. He shook off the thought and decided to save it until later. "No, get these people to safety. I'll handle Roid Rage." Right then, he phased through the construct and put his blade up to block a strike from Bane. As one arm held Phantom down, the other caught his side and sent him flying. Using the momentum of the blow, he threw a rope dart and latched it around one of the venom lines. He yanked as hard as he could. Using the force of the blow and his own strength, he could feel the tube pull a little loose. Landing on his feet, the ninja tried to shrug off the pain from the Hay-maker.
Bullets filled the air, causing him to run for cover. Bane attempted to block Phantom from running, so he slid between the man's legs and put a knife in the villain's calf. Bane roared from pain but easily pulled the knife out. the small amount of time it provided allowed Blake to hide. His chest was throbbing where he was struck. It felt like a rib was cracked. "Where are you, alfeñique," Bane taunted as he neared the storage crates. "Come on, a little closer.... a little closer," Blake thought to himself, waiting to strike. He lunged onto the wrestler's back and started tugging at the already loosened tubing. No sooner that he pulled it off, Bane threw him over his shoulder, sending him back into the center of the room.
Phantom didn't even have a chance to stand before the man landed on him and grabbed him by his throat. Blake was too weak to phase out and his sword was on the ground. As pressure was applied to his neck, the ninja struggled to grab a sting grenade. Right before losing consciousness, the boy pulled the pin and held the bomb up. The detonation sent heavily concentrated pepper spray into both of their faces.

Rueben nodded. she was excited to be helping heroes on a mission. As the boy known as superboy bust in she smiled and pushed her force field around the hostages. "Be careful hero i shall return to help in a short wile."the Star Sapphire lead the hostages out of the building and helped them to safety. One of the hostages looked at the girl in disgust. "Someone shouldn't be wearing something like that. Its degrading to women." The girl looked at her and smiled. "It was a pleasure meeting you guys." She then flew back to the scene where she saw things that would frighten most people.
Superboy was fighting with Bane. Though she didnt know who bane was she knew he was the bad guy and that he seemed really strong. Rueben had no real idea what she was doing because she had never worked on a "team" before. She had worked with her sisters but it was more of a more organized fighting then this. She had no idea what was going on or anything. Pointing her ring at Bane she waited for the right time to help the Superboy.

The pepper spray didn't really affect Superboy negatively, by no means was he uninjured by the assault to his senses, drawing out a rather savage roar of pain, despite the fact that this burning gas wouldn't really cause any true damage to his eyes or nose as they would to Bane. Trying to maintain his full-nelson, though Bane in the flash of agonizing pain that he was experiencing thanks to Phantom's little explosive.
Wrenching himself free of the kryptonian's grip, the luchadore began quickly rubbing his eyes free of the chemicals which were causing him pain. Using this as an opportunity, Superboy placed the bottoms of his boots firmly against Bane's back, and straightened them forcefully. This double-footed kick flung the colossal man a number of feet in the air and away. Jumping back up from his back to feet, Superboy surveyed the situation and called to the glowing pink girl, "I need you to try and subduing him with your energy! Don't worry if you hit me too, I can take it." Or at least Superboy hoped that he'd be able to, he saw from what brief glimpses that he'd been able to snatch that the girl could create constructs and the like very similar to that of a Green Lantern's, and while it took a bit of "UMPH" to hurt him with those, these might be far more mystical in nature.
With another roar, Superboy launched himself at Bane, only to be met with a powerful swing from the larger man, having a similar affect that Superboy's own earlier kick had. "Nice try niño!" Bane taunted as he felt at the tubing which was now sputtering out wasted venom. Taking a moment to tie the severed hose shut, he continued, "You should know by now that none can go toe-to-toe with Bane alone, and almost all your little amigos are off 'helping the helpless'."
Conner's head plunged into the concrete wall, as well as his shoulders and part of his upper-body. But with some quick application of physical force allowed Superboy to pry himself free of the rock with minimal effort. Looking around at the situation, Kent saw that now Bane was moving to crush Phantom's head beneath his boot, prompting Superboy to begin running towards the two, but knowing that he wouldn't be able to make it in time to knock Bane off of his balance.

Blake woke up to find a boot quickly approaching his face. The ninja rolled about 2 feet away as the luchador's foot had a small crater. He stood up up and grabbed his sword, getting ready to be on the defensive, the look of rage was clear in his eyes. Hunched half way over from the pain of his chest, Blake grunted, holding his open hand over his torso. He blocked a couple of blows with his blade, and each time, he grunted from pain from his chest. Unable to turn intangible due to weakness and pain, the only Phantom could do is block the attacks, hope that Bane wears himself out.
"Not going to attack, Nino?" Bane laughed as he kicked at Blake. Blocking the attack, he skidded back several feet. "I can't keep this up much longer." he thought to himself. The boy started looking around the room for a way to escape. A man came out from behind a box, pointing a gun at the ninja. He had a smirk on his face that Blake quickly wiped off when he spun around the man and kicked him at the charging luchador. He followed up the push with a swing from his blade. While the metal merely bounced off his skin, Bane took a step back from the blow, enough for Blake to do a back flip kick into his jaw. Bane took a couple of steps back from the kick. "Not bad, camarón" the wrestler chuckled, wiping his mouth with his forearm. The sudden jerk from the blow cause Phantom to grunt from pain once again. He was breathing heavily from the pain. Phantom's eyes were focused on the criminal, refusing to let him out of his sight.

Rueben was put at a fork in the road, both of the heroes needed help and yet she was only one person. The girl nodded at the boy who had a red S on his shirt. Suddenly the pink light beamed from her ring and started to effect the other man that was holding with superboy. She was trying to put him in a crystallization like she did with some of the other men. The crystals started at his feet, though none of the crystals affected the Superboy. As soon as the man was compleatly covered in crystallization she turned facing the other boy.
It wasn't long before a glow of pink light in the shape of Rueben was in front of Phantom. "You leave him alone you big meanie." The energy twin spoke just like the real girl would talk. She then pointed her hand at him and blasted him back with an energy blast, then tried once again to crystallize the bigger man. Though he came rushing at the energy twin and punched right though it. The twin broke and vanished back in to the girl's body. Rueben fell back on the ground and caught herself from falling.

Superboy looked around several times, and using the mental relay, ordered to the team hostages have been recovered, withdraw immediately, we're done in here. Seeing that Phantom was still fighting Bane, he put himself between the two men. The kryptonian knew that as Bane weakened progressively, the fight would be much easier, but still a pointless one to draw out further, or even finish it quickly. So the plan here was to keep the luchadore's hands off of Blake for long enough that he could get out. Afterwords Kent himself would simply leave as possible.
The main issue was getting to the withdrawal craft that was patrolling the perimeter. There remained several miles of dense jungle to travel through in order to get that, which would have to be traversed as a full squad, while also moving the hostages and keeping them safe. The nocturnal hazards of the wilds would make this difficult on its own, then the armed thugs of Bane's would also be doing everything in their power to keep all heroes from escaping.
"Superninyo, you know that this is pointless ci?" Bane then began, taking a step to his left, though it was mirrored by Conner. It was clear that the boy wasn't going to allow the criminal past, and in an event in which they came to blows, who would come out on top in such an occurrence was apparent to both.
