Physical Appearance
Superboy is a clone of Superman, naturally meaning that he is identical to the elder kryptonian. With caucasian skin, blue eyes, and dark hair, Conner can easily pass for any human on the planet without being questioned. A strong jawline and chiseled features, many people see Conner as a strong figure upon meeting the young man. Standing at a tall six feet, and with considerable muscle mass, Kent has had many girls, both alien and human, find him to be very attractive. Of course, Kent is something of a somber figure as well, not smiling often, which gives others the impression that Superboy is unfriendly. Rather, Conner often chooses to wear a scowl, or sometimes more neutral expression, to display either his irritation or indifference to a situation, rather than the perpetual smile of others such as Dick Grayson or Logan Garfield.
Conner usually wears a black shirt with long sleeves, and a red S-shield, as it's a popular piece of paraphernalia among the younger crowd. When dressed as a civilian, however, he'll either turn the shirt itself inside-out, or simply wear a different black shirt with no such insignia. As well as these, Kent also likes wearing work jeans or cargo pants, with a pair of brown boots. Occasionally, Superboy will mix it up and add a leather jacket or flannel shirt in his non-heroic outfitting to go over the standard black as well.
Personality
While being quick-grown in CADMUS, Conner had a variety of information programmed into his brain to be drawn upon after his release from incubation. None of this programming touched base on subjects such as social interaction, or even niceties. Thus, the "fresh picked" Superboy was a moody, irritable, socially constipated brute who lacked any real social skills beyond hitting whatever he was attempting to "negotiate" with. Of course, as time went on and Kent became more familiar with others and how to interact with them, Conner became somewhat more social-able and laid-back. This isn't to say that Conner doesn't have a temper or difficulty letting things go, but he is certainly more capable of making and maintaining positive relationships than in the past.
On missions, Superboy is very professional and straightforward about everything, usually trying to set aside personal matters and the like for when they actually have the time and leisure to sort the situations out. Straightforward and not the least bit subtle, Superboy is only lead on the missions which require the least amount of finesse and just take the get in, break stuff, and break out skill-set which he's known to have. While the young kryptonian has some very rudimentary leadership traits, and the desire to be one, Conner has yet to develop some of the necessary skills to act as someone that the team can rally around and push forward with an adaptive strategy.
What's Under Your Mask?
I suppose now you bring me to justice. Let your new friends interrogate me. I wonder if your position's secure enough to survive them learning everything I know.
Powers
Superhuman Strength| Drawn from his kryptonian physiology, Superboy's muscles are enhanced through the metabolization of the energy stored within this solar system's yellow sun gives him considerable physical strength. Conner is able to become stronger when either exposed to a more considerable amount of light, or through regular training to develop his muscle mass. Upon aging rapidly three years, Kent's strength grew incredible in that same short amount of time. His maximum amount lifted overhead at the time is 50 tons.
Invulnerability| In the same vein as his strength, Conner's entire biology is enhanced through the energy absorbed from the yellow sun's solar energy, making his entire structure more dense. Thanks to this, Kent is all but immune to physical energy, usually only being able to be hurt by physical attacks from others with a comparable or greater strength than his own, or massive amounts of damage from other sources directed at him.
He has been known to be injured by being attacked in expect-ably vulnerable locations, such as his eyes, using energy attacks. Magic also completely bypasses this defense, meaning that if an attack's source of power is drawn from magic, or an object used to hurt him is magical in nature, it would harm him as it would any human of his size and build.
Super Hearing| Conner's hearing is enhanced to the point that he can hear at very far distances. The longest distance he has managed with perfect clarity is roughly a mile, when not inhibited by any objects or walls obstructing the sound's path of travel. This can be abused to put Kent through sensory overload, disabling him until able to recover.
Infrared Vision| Superboy can see into the infrared spectrum, allowing him to see in heat rather than in reflected light. This has its natural draw-backs, such as being exposed to a sudden blast of extremely bright light, and other means of sensory overload.
As of yet unlocked Kryptonian Potential| As a rather young, and not full-blooded, Kryptonian, Conner does not quite have the same scope of powers as his mentor does, or even that of other kryptonians his own age. Still lacking the ability to fly at all, as well as any heat vision, telescopic vision, or etc. Superboy's powers continue to develop as he ages. While his counterpart had not achieved flight until adulthood, Conner grows impatient and has been known to try and "force" his powers out to no avail. Thus, as Kent's powers grow and develop, this application will have powers added on to it as appropriate.
SkillsProgrammed and Learned Intelligence| While in his growing stages, the other genomorphs in CADMUS programmed into him information that could be assumed to have been at least 16 years worth of education, and additionally having what seemed to be an inexhaustible knowledge of Earth's history. Already having his Master's in Earth History, and pursuing a doctorate, Kent is also working towards a teaching degree, and is a student teacher for his civilian persona.
Gear
Hand-to-Hand Combat| 6 years of training with some of the best martial artists in the world, as well as that same amount of time worth of on-field experience has made Superboy a considerable fighter. Skilled strongly in throws, pins, and holds, which highlight his superhuman strength well, Conner has also learned some boxing and kicking techniques more recently that allows him to hold his own when fighting foes who are still stronger than him. Currently he is training in kryptonian martial arts with Superman, a discipline which takes many years to even become proficient in.
Mechanics| Conner is somewhat proficient in mechanics, as he was able to repair his own motorcycle following the Amazo incident.
Multilingual| Kent can speak the common languages of Earth, as well as conversational Kryptonian.Motorcycle| A customized motorcycle that Conner uses on certain missions. He frequently puts in work on it himself, but works to maintain street legality. It is a racing bike, and is therefore quite aerodynamic and good for aerial flourishes.
Sphere| A New Genesphere, Conner adopted it as a pet and can transform into the flying "super cycle". It possesses several New Genesian weapons, and can program itself to operate their technology, as well as Old God tech. Its AI is also quite sophisticated.
Your Story
Having broken the Light in half, and stopping the alien invasion, the Team will now operate out of the WatchTower, side-by-side with the Justice League. Not because Mount Justice was destroyed, but because you earned it.
History
Superman is a hero of considerable prestige, considered by many to be the greatest of what Earth has to offer. Naturally, there are those who are distrustful of the Man of Steel, and others who downright despise the hero for his actions. And when these seeds are sown into those with the resources to do something about it, the result will be one Alexander Luthor, a philanthropist who has riches which rival that of even the great and powerful Bruce Wayne, himself.
When it became something of a routine for the two men to butt heads, the world quickly became bored with the conflict, and eventually it dawned upon Luthor that to defeat the most powerful man on Earth, he would have to be considerably more subtle. Thus, Lex went to great lengths to place considerable funding into his personal think tank in Project CADMUS, which had long been working towards perfecting the process of sentient cloning. Using the DNA of Roy Harper to do this many times, eventually Luthor was confident in his scientist's skill in reproducing DNA into living cells for the purposes of creating both clones and genomorphs. Going to great lengths to obtain Superman's DNA was a difficult venture, but certainly a worthwhile one when they finally found what was needed to reverse-engineer the alien's genetic structure.
After a failed experiment to fully and completely reproduce Kryptonian DNA, despite being unable to fully decode the complex structures, it was determined that the missing pieces would be "filled in" with suitable human DNA. The true donor is unknown, but Luthor claims that it was his own. Being gestated in the womb of supervillain Galatea at a quickened rate, her ability to grow and become more durable allowing the woman to have a fast-growing child to term without injury being a key factor in her selection for this, Project Kr was then placed into a suspension chamber which was designed to allow the young man to grow at a quickened pace of roughly one year per week, while the other genomorphs programmed within him all information which had been deemed necessary.
One fateful day, however, a trio of sidekicks, Kid-Flash, Robin, and Aqualad, broke into Project CADMUS's lower levels to discover the clone, still in his animation. Upon hacking the terminal and discovering the boy's identity, they attempt to release him, but are met with immediate and fierce hostility as "The Superboy" flies into a rage at being awoken prematurely. Acting solely on the orders relayed to him telepathically, the Kryptonian attacked his would-be rescuers and successfully detained the three.
However, moments before the three were to have their DNA harvested and terminated, Aqualad managed to convince Superboy that what he was doing was not, inherently, within the ideals that one like Superman would uphold. Wishing to be like the Man of Steel, Superboy rescued his new associates and began to make their way out of the lower levels. Battling a variety of other genomorphs on the way, while attempting to evade capture by Guardian and Blockbuster, formerly Mark Desmond who had injected himself with the blockbuster formula in hopes of saving himself from the board of directors by capturing the young heroes. Through teamwork, the four were able to defeat the hulking behemoth and escape from CADMUS with their lives intact.
Met immediately by the Justice League, who had come to investigate the sudden violence and small seismic events coming from the basements, to find their proteges and Superboy standing among what remained of the old CADMUS upper floors. After making their argument that no matter what their mentors would do, all four were allowed by Batman to start their own team with a base in Mount Justice, being introduced to Miss Martian, who would serve as a fifth to the team, and a much needed telepath.
Over the following months, Conner learned many lessons, and began to forge strong friendships Superboy became a very important member to the team, and even began a romantic relationship with Miss Martian as well. During this time, Kent met his predecessor, Match, who was the clone that was not created with any human DNA, thus making him extremely unstable despite his full access to kryptonian superpowers. Fighting off his counterpart a number of times, as well as both the forces of The Light and The Reach, eventually Superboy became one of Earth's greatest heroes during the absence of the greatest members of The Justice League.
After his first half-year outside of CADMUS, Superboy managed to bond with the initially uneasy Superman and become integrated into his family. Gaining the name of Kon-El, Conner began to learn of Krypton and their culture, as well as acting, from the public's perception, as the Man of Steel's first sidekick.
During the five years between The Light's attack on the League, and The Reach's own invasion, Conner and Megan broke off their relationship due to some actions on the part of the Martian concerning the use of her powers, though they did reconcile these after the young woman had a change of heart near the end of the alien invasion. In the months following Wally's death, Kent focused heavily on his training, having made the commitment to never allow a friend of his to die again, if able to be prevented. Placing the blame on himself for not being able to health, thanks to an absence of superhuman speed or flight.
