Sellictor admired the beauty of his latest sale, a statue of a horse saddled and reigned. He made the entire statue from a single log, carving every feature by hand, not even a hair on its mane was out of place. Loading it up onto the customer's trailer, the 5 foot statue put a slight load on the shocks as the forklift removed its prongs from underneath the statue. "Thank you, pard'ner," the customer said as he tipped his hat. He came a long distance to get this decoration. After going back inside, the sorcerer began to clean up the shop, preparing to close for the night. Archived Relics was a shop that sold all sorts of antiques, collectibles, and custom woodwork. And, it was a shop that Sellictor has started up many years ago.
The man let out a sigh as he turned off the open sign. Before walking out the door, he put a sign up in the window, "Help Wanted" Between the Justice League, Archived Relics, and life in general, his time, and patient, was wearing thin. As he walked past an ally, he heard a tussle going on. "Knock it off," Sellictor said, walking up to the group. "Oh, yah, try and stop us." One of the larger boys said, sizing up to the man. As the boy tried to punch Sellictor, the sorcerer grabbed the man's arm, bent it behind him and slammed him into a wall. The boy spit out blood and a tooth, as he turned around to face Sellictor. The second man came up to grab him, but the warrior bashed his elbow in the man's head three times, knocking him down. "I'll say it one more time. Back. Off," the rage in Sellictor's eyes could be seen, clear as day.

Leta was in Washington for a meeting, the whole day was pretty crappy but the girl just blew it off. She couldn't wait to get back to her hotel room that was across town. Though she didn't want to take a taxi the woman walked down the streets. It was a nice night, the stars burned like the little balls of gasses they were and the people were as busy as bees in a bee hive. Leta made her way down the street until she herd a commotion going on. The voice, it was his voice, A voice she hadn't herd in ages. "Sellictor." The girls voice was some what in shock. Looking over to where the comotion was going on she saw him and a few other. Part of her wanted to help her old friend, the other part knew Lighting Lord would probably get angered at her, another part just wanted to waist the whole lot of them.
It had seemed this time her human side got the best of her, which rarely ever happen. Soon the woman was on fire, her whole body was set to blaze. Walking down the place where the group was she smirked. Pulling a ball of fire in her hand the woman thew it at one of the men. His screams of pain made her smile. "What the hell!" One of the men spoke as he tried shooting the girl. But this only made Beauty Blaze mad. Throwing yet another fire ball towards the group. "You going to stop? IF you do I'll make the pain go away."

Looking at the woman, a slight smile faded across his face. The smile of joy was quickly turned into a look of remorse as he remembered the young woman. "Leta..." he whispered to himself. Seeing the kid burning, the situation has clearly gotten out of control. "Fierlos Quotoon," The flames extinguished in a tuft of smoke. As the boy looked at Hellfire, the fire was burning deep in his eyes. "Treybonthus Forssol," the boy was slammed into the wall and knocked out. He turned his eyes to the victim as she shaked on the ground, it was clear that she soiled herself from the fear of the two supers around her. "Sleayswoodn." The woman passed out in a deep sleep.
"It's been a long time, Leta, how have you been?" He started heading to an old cafe down the street. He remember back when he helped take care of Leta. He remembered trying to be there for her as much as he could. He just wish he could've told her back then why he had to leave. It still pains him today for leaving her without mention. He tried to say he was sorry for it, but the words just didn't seem to fit the bill. The man held the cafe door open for Leta. He wanted to be able to talk to her. Tell her how much she still means to him, even if their time was brief.

The flame that covered the woman faded after everything that went down, her firey hair fell to her sides and faded to the normal blonde color, she was all grown up. Part of her knew she shouldn't stick around, it was the part of her that was mad at him for leaving and the fact that she shouldn't be showing off who she was, it would blow the cover of the Legion if people knew. Though the side that made her stop was still their, so she followed him like she use to, followed him like the lost little girl she had been ages ago. As they made their way to the cafe the woman walked in and sat down in a booth.
"I'v been to the darkest sides of hell but hey what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." The woman wasn't lying after he left her father came for her, he took her down and taught her to be the heartless lady she was today. "How about you. The last time I saw you, I was only a human girl." That was true, she was an orphan and she was human, now she was a full grown lady with the powers of hell at her finger tips. Soon a waitress walked up to the two, "Welcome to Jake's Cafe What can I get you guys to drink?" The woman looked at her and smiled. "I'll have a Iced cold bud light."

"Whiskey on rocks" Sellictor answer. "Trying to make the world safer for Megan and others." He replied with a slight sulk. "Despite them all hating me," he mumbled under his breath. After a few moments, the woman brought their drinks out. Sellictor raised his glass and gave a slight nod before knocking the drink back. It's been a while since he had a strong drink, and this whiskey wasn't enough. After emptying the glass, the man set it down and looked at the table. "I... I'm sorry," he said.
His mind flashed back to the day he left her. With nothing more than a brief note to tell her. "I have to leave for your own safety, You'll understand one day." He came back to the real world when the waitress came back. "Anything else I can get for you?" "A cherry pie and a Pumpkin pie, and two more drinks." Sellictor said. The place was practically dead with the exception of an older man sitting in the back by himself.
Before clearing his throat, Sellictor pulled out a small toy doll and placed it on the table. It was one that he made for her out of wood and fur. The details were kept very precise. It took him days to make every detail exact. "I never let it leave my side." He said, looking at her.

When he spoke about making the world safer she snorter, the world was far from safe, and she would make sure it stayed unsafe. "How is Megan?" The woman wondered, Though she did catch the part about everyone hating him which she wondered about, he was such a caring person, how could the people who he held close hate him. Though she pushed that emotion away she raised her drink when the lady set it down and drank the bottle. Setting the glass down she sighed, the drink was good but it wasn't strong at all it was like drinking water, everything she tried to get drunk on failed, alcohol, drugs, nothing worked.
As he pulled out the doll she glared at it. That was a life she left behind, that was back before she even knew what killing was. He apologized for leaving, and told her he kept the doll with him, she didnt know what to think. Her human part, the small part he left behind, the only part he seemed to know was begging to forgive him, but the angry demon inside wondered what would have happened if he would have stayed, would her father have stayed away would she be human, would she be dead? No. He still would have came for her, she would still be here, but he left just like everyone else did.
"Why. Why did you leave?" She looked at him, her eyes as human as they could be, the soft blue that no one had seen in years.

Sellictor nodded at the first question. "She's doing pretty good." He knocked back the drink again, the burn wasn't what it used to be for him. The second question was one that he feared for a long time. "I left to protect you from 'Him'" the sorcerer said, referring to his "true" form. He remembered the last time that form was used and the condition it put Megan in. He was afraid of the destruction it caused during his subconscious black-out.
As the lady brought their pie to the table, Hellfire, dug into the food. Pumpkin pie was his favorite junk food. "And now, I'm here to protect these scu... the people," He didn't know what it was, but something about Leta brought his true feelings out. He didn't like protecting them, but he did, to help honor his memories of her. "People fear what they don't understand, and the Arcane arts are something that they will never understand," he said with a sigh.
The old man, at this time, stood up and marched over to the two. "You have some nerve, treating the others as if they are weak," he said in a whistling voice. The elder punched Sellictor in the jaw, causing the sorcerer to instinctively react. Hellfire shoved the old man, slamming him to the ground. The look of fire was once again, flaming in his eyes. "That's because they are." Sellictor snapped.

The woman nodded, she understood. Back then she needed protected she guessed, she was small, innocent, and perhaps it was for the best. But now people needed protecting from her, when the pie was set down she smiled and took a bite of it. "Humans will never understand, in my eyes they are worthless, and one day they will all be gone." Yes that was pretty cold but no human ever showed her love why should she show them love. When the elder man walked over she knew exactly what he came over to do. His name, Keith Henderson, he had been chasing Leta for years. Keith was a demon hunter.
Leta moved from the booth and made her way up to the two bending down she looked at the elder man. "Poor Keith I bet you wished you would have never become a demon hunter." The girl laughed but turned to her friend. The woman laughed. "Perhaps, this is the true path you would take, next to me, with me. Together. We could be great together. The heroes you stand with will never understand you like I do." The demonic girl laughed, "Take a dip in the dark, It will be worth the power. This guy has been following me since i showed back up on earth, he wants me and you dead." Leta like this side of Sellictor, something about evil and the dark side of people just made the demonic side of her go crazy. Soon the waitress came out and dumped holly water on the blonde, this made Leta scream in pain. "Leave my father alone or else the blonde gets it."

Sellictor liked the feeling of power, the feeling of freedom. A smirk came across his face, the sorcerer held the man down with his foot. Applying pressure, he started to squeeze the man's throat. When the holy water was thrown on Leta, Sellictor glared at the woman. "Big, mistake, crossing us," he snarled. The man's eyes glowed a bright red. "Treaybonthus Forssol," he chanted. The lady was slammed into the back wall. The sound of a bone breaking was clearly heard. "Fierlos mithleriorn." A mystical flame that was hot enough to metal steel started around Leta.
Walking over to the girl, Sellictor let out an evil chuckle. The old man stood back up and started chanting an exorcist chant. Glaring at the man, Sellictor walked back over to him. "Aerlos forssol," he chanted. The man started gasping for air and dropped to his knees as the oxygen escaped his lungs. A quick kick to the head put the man out cold. "Let's go somewhere safe," Sellictor said to the woman, holding out his hand.
He hasn't felt this alive in a very long time. Ever since he fought in the war several hundred years ago, he has been craving to feel the rush of power flow through him again. He almost forgot what it felt it. The power to make other bow down to you. No restraints or limits, just raw power pulsating through him.

Leta watched as Sellictor showed his true colors. The two laid motionless on the ground, the hot flames soaked in to the woman and she smiled. Reaching up she took the hand of the man and followed him out the door. Though she turned and walked back to the door, soon her body was on fire, her blonde hair gone and it had seemed she was laughing. The woman called upon the fires of hell to burn the place to the ground. Their was no way those people inside were going to get out. Turning back to the man she walked over and the fire that was surrounding her turned to a blue then vanished. "They deserved to burn."
The woman looked at him, and hugged him. "Perhaps this is fate. Bad things are bound to happen and I'm going to be first in line to watch them." The woman pulled away from him and looked back at the burining cafe."Where to now?" Leta asked, she was just getting started with her night, all hell was going to break loose in Washington just because the devils daughter was in town.

It felt different to him, watching the people burn and hearing the building crackle under the heat. He felt relieved. "To my place," he said with a menacing grin. "It's time I made up for leaving you all those years ago." He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her. He loved her like a daughter. The sound of the sirens drew the moment short for him as he pulled her away from the fire to escape. Sellictor headed towards the other side of the city. But he was cut off by the brats from earlier. This time, they had friends. "You two will pay for what you did to us." the leader called out, pointing a gun at the woman. Right as the trigger was pulled, Hellfire stepped in the way of the bullets. "You want to hurt my daughter? You'll have to go through me!" He yelled out of rage. "Erden Quailduin Croundowa," he chanted. An earthquake started right around the kids. They screamed as the ground opened up underneath them, forcing them into a sinkhole.
The man walked up to the edge to check for survivors. One of the boys was hanging onto a pipe, his knuckles were white from gripping it so hard. The boy looked like a deer in the headlight when he saw Sellictor. "W-who are you, freaks?" he cried out from fear. Hellfire just looked at the pipe and touched it. "Fierlos." The pipe started heating up, it was turning a pale red. "Let's see how long you can hang on for," Sellictor chuckled.

The blonde nodded and walked with the man, when the group of boys attacked the girl twitched, watching the man protect her she decided that something was going to be done to make sure that no one would hurt her friend. Her eyes turned a complete flame color and her body caught on fire and she floated up in to the air. "This city is filled with rats." The girls voice was no longer the human tone it was a while back, it was full demonic and very scary. Floating over the sinkwhole the girl pulled the flames from hell, pushing them down to the group of boys. "I'm going to take you all home with me." The woman laughed. She was no longer Leta, she was the demonic form inside the girl. Turning to the city she pushed the fire out and about.
The whole city was going to burn at the hands of the demon that was unleashed. She watched the punks burn turning to the man she looked at him, she was not the same girl that he knew from a long time ago, not even the lady he met in the cafe, She was the demon people freared and now she was going to be unleashed on the town of Washington D.C. Her boss was going to be angered but she could care less about him at the moment. She just wanted everyone and everything to burn.

Abruptly, the nearest lights from every building within eye-shot began flickering, before immediately going out. Eventually it seemed as if all the power in Washington DC has been sucked away entirely. The only source of light was a glowing figure in the sky, suspended in the air by no apparent means of propulsion, and certainly a phenomena which anyone from the present wouldn't be recognizing. But certainly a sight which Beauty Blaze recognized.
In the center of an aura of bluish-white light and arcs of electricity travelling across the black material of you silver-haired youth's suit. He was clearly much younger than either superhuman, but was possessed of a powerful regal bearing, which few had. His eyes were invisible behind two "torches" of silver light flowing forth from each of his eyes, as much larger stray bolts of energy flew from his metal shoulder-plates. Etched upon his features was a scowl which betrayed his clear lack-of amusement with the course of events.
"Leta!" He roared to the woman, "Just what do you think you're doing? You know just as well as anyone that we can't be engaged in any of this tom-foolery!" Referring to the fact that she was clearly not the Leta who was to be existing at the moment, and these actions would be bringing the Legion into the public eye.
Raising a threatening fist towards Lane, an orb of electricity formed around this very same fist, even travelling down his metal bracers. It was clear that the leader of the Legion was not at all amused with the situation, and even at ground-level, much of the metal began trembling violently, as the clear rage from Mekt's person emanated from his person and began sub-consciously manipulating the metal in the city of Washington. Ranzz paid absolutely no heed to the neanderthal at ground-level, as he wasn't of interest to the Lightning Lord.

Sellictor looked up at the man flying above, his arm pointed directly at his "daughter". The sorcerer then looked around to see the earth rumbling as the metal began to move. Sellictor became enraged. "Hey, Spark Plug!" He yelled at the man. Hellfire stood in front of Leta, acting as a wall. "Akiadous Erdun Treybonthus," he chanted. The sorcerer's eyes glowed yellow as a dark green chunk of acidic earth broke from the ground and threw itself at the floating man.
"Go, run!" He demanded at Leta, "I'll handle the glow worm. Erdum Fierlos Bladdus," Swords made of molten lava formed from his hands. He took a fighting stance, the blades angled to protect him from any incoming attacks. Rage could be seen flaming in his eyes. "I will never let you touch her," he sneered. Swinging his blades in an "X" shape, two lines of lava flew at the man. "Fogodoon Blanthos!" A thick blanket of fog covered the earth, preventing sight of more than a few inches. While Sellictor could fight ranged really well, he was hoping that a close combat fight would be more in his favor. "I'll protect you, Leta, I'll never leave you again," He thought to himself (Sorry for no color, i can't on my phone.

Leta looked up at the man floating. "My lord." The voice of the girl was more calm then it was a moment ago. "I-I Thought you left me behind." It was clear that the girl was mislead about anything, after all she was Lighting Lord's lost puppy. She was always use to someone ordering her to do things but with her father gone, Arese gone and Lighting Lord somewhere else she felt she was on her own. Quickly the girl landed and the fire on her went away. She was pleased to see Lighting Lord but she also knew she was in for in for it.
However what Seliter did next was a bad idea. Leta picked up her flame again and dashed off towards Lighting Lord and took the hit from the rock herself. Grunting the girl fell to the ground with the huge rock on to her, pushing the rock off the girl stood up to see the place covered in fog. "My Lord Forgive me, for what I have done." Dashing in to the fog she pushed her way between the two. "My lord, this man has no idea what he is doing. Punish me, not him." The girl growled, not because she was mad at Lighting or Hellfire but because she was mad with herself, If she would have sicked to her hate for all people she would have not been in the trouble.
