Location: Jewel Store Date: July 4th 2017 Time: 20:00
The cat huffed, tonight was going to be a long night. Why did she have to take this job stealing the Jewel of mystery, oh because she needed the extra cash for food, her moped payment and who could forget that she was now a working student who didn't get paid to work or go to school, so the extra jobs were needed. It just happened that this one took place on the forth of July, the biggest scariest day in America. Luckily everything was shut down for the night so it should be an easy in easy out time. hopefully she could get this job done before the fireworks started.
The pink cat jumped around on building to building finally she landed on the one she was bound to break in to. Looking at the time she hissed, it was getting close and this worried her. The girl broke in to the building with no problems like always and didn't trip any of the wires. walking up to the case she looked inside. "What a pretty gem. Shame i cant keep it." The girl cut a hole in the glass and pulled the gem out. "BOOM" The cat jump and hissed. The fire works were staring.

Beyond was moving through the streets of DC. Even in the nation's capital, crime was still an ever-present issue. And when most people were out watching the small explosions of flame loosing themselves in the sky, distracting most of the common populace with their pretty flashes and loud booms, there would be all manner of looters moving through the city and trying to procure things which would be too difficult to steal otherwise. So it was hardly a surprise when Beyond spied a certain pink kitty sneaking into a jewel shop.
The last time he'd seen her was in Gotham, and he was sincerely interested in what the cat was doing in Washington. As she broke down the window, Beyond followed, taking a step in silently, avoiding the strewn about shards of glass altogether, and watching with his arms crossed as she began setting about getting into the case. Then the rather faint sound of a firework going off went off in the air, and the cat hissed as if something were wrong.
Confused, the hero took a step forward somewhat hesitantly, stepping on a stray piece of glass as he did so, with the intent of making sure the girl was alright. He then stopped, though, reminding himself that she was just that, a thief. He had probably given himself away to Nya-Nya's sharp sense of hearing by now, so it would just have to be a case of waiting to see how the criminal responded to his presence.

"boooooooom" the cat jumped and dropped the jewel. This wasnt fun anymore, she wanted out, she didnt care if this was a high priced job. Turning the girl saw the bat and jumped again he had seemed to sneak up on her. The cat staired at him, she was unsure of what to do. All she wanted was to run, run away from the noises, run away from the night. BOOOOOOOOOOM the girl jumped and looked at beyond her eyes filled with horror and fear. She was scared and that was one thing she was never use to. "I-I-I-" The girl tried to speak but before she could another firework went off. BOOM
The cat girl hissed and darted at the bat. Though she was not attacking him she wrapped her arms around him and buried her head in his chest. Nya was shaking like a leaf on the tree in the wind. She knew he was a hero and heroes saved people no matter who they were. She thought it was some sort of hero code, even though she was a thief she was still a human who deserved to be saved. "p-p-p-please." The booms didnt stop, it was like thunderstorms all over again. Another loud one and the girl jumped and curled in to him. "Help" she whispered to the hero.

Suddenly, Nya-Nya dropped the jewel in shock as the faint sound of a firework could be heard going off in the distance. That was certainly odd behaviour. Hesitating once more before taking another step forward Beyond then heard another slightly louder firework explode. This time a look of genuine fear and pain seemed to spread across her face, as she attempted to stammer out her next words.
"Are you-?" Was all that Terry managed to say before she moved at him with blinding speed. Beyond didn't have time to react to the pink blur at that close of a distance, and was fairly sure she had intents to sink her claws into him. But her true actions surprised and puzzled the clone, as she wrapped herself tightly around him and buried her face into his chest.
He could feel the young woman's fearful tremors as she latched onto him, clearly attempting to somehow escape the noises which were irritating her senses greatly. When she whispered help, Beyond felt it in the tone which she used that this was sincere, letting the hero know that Nya-Nya had no ill intent. After their last encounter, he felt that the two had become familiar on a unspoken level, and this allowed the training detective to deduce the truth. That and an external heart-rate monitor in his mask didn't hurt.
Thinking of what to do, Terry used the controls in his suit's gauntlet to filter all noise within a certain distance out from his mask. Immediately the only sounds that could be heard were the quiet sobs of the fearful girl and his own uneasy breathing. Without wasting a second, he activated the mask's partial-removal mode, revealing red circuitry along his neck and jaw, as well as the plates which covered his ears, reaching up to the pointed ears of the mask itself, protruded slightly.
A moment later two small earbuds, like the ones you would find on an MP3 player dropped and dangled by somewhat sturdy cords from the protrusions. Withdrawing the two small devices, Beyond gently fit the two buds into Nya-Nya's ears, knowing they would have plenty of slack for her to stand at least a few feet away from him, but were certainly high-end enough to filter the noise out.
"Better?" Terry asked for the first time in his life, using a tone of true and real concern for someone else.

As she clung to the hero she started to realize something. The sent he gave off was the sent of a student in her class. No she didn't want to believe it, he couldn't be someone she knew as human formed Miko. Though it would explain why he was in Washington. Thinking back to the day before she remembered the sent of Sebastian, his was more of a sweet smell, then their was the smell of Micheal, he was a smell of metal, but this smell was someone she had been some what fond of. This was the smell of Terry McGinnis, the kid that wouldn't keep his feet off the desk.
As he placed the ear buds in her ear's she flinched a bit, not because of fear but because no one touched her ears and ti was a new thing for her. He then asked if the sound was better. His tone was not the same tone she had heard in Gotham or in class. Stepping a short foot away from him she looked up at him. She knew who he was and she was pleased to know that terry was the kid behind the mask of her kiss in Gotham.
Getting on her tippy toes the girl whispered in the bats ear. "Thank-you Terry. Thank-you for helping me." This ended in her hugging the hero. Nya was not always a bad kitty, she had her good moments too. She would help the heroes if it benefited her in anyway, but for beyond all he had to do was ask and she would be their for him.
